Fork, address any outstanding major issues relative to compatibility, etc. bump version and submit PR to redirect the update checks. A good example can be found here of such a PR.
There is a link in there to a branch I made and have been using locally that fixed that problem, but I was never entirely happy with it because it broke backwards compatibility with older Octoprint versions. Maybe that is less of a problem now, since 1.8.0 has been out for awhile now? Either way, hopefully it helps!

Has there been any update on this? I use this on all of my printers, I would gladly donate to whoever took this over, its a great Plugin!! It would be a shame to loose it.
So the last push on this was a little over four years ago. Do people really like it enough to want it kept alive? I had it in my download list and it's warned as abandoned.

Are there other alternatives for a good interface for small screens and mobile devices?
Touch UI has been my daily driver for close to a decade now. Despite the lack of updates, it has luckily managed to escape major breakage over the years.
OctoDash, which currently is an external app, is currently being refactored into a plugin with kiosk browser mode (the way touchui works on pi touch screen). Just because a plugin is abandoned didn't mean it's going to get deleted and you can continue using it until it breaks.
The original project, copyright notices, license and Git history have been
preserved. TouchUI was originally created by Paul de Vries / BillyBlaze.
This is a community-maintained continuation and not a claim of original
authorship.
compatibility work for current OctoPrint installations
support for the current webcam container and streaming methods
fixes for the temperature graph layout
a Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm HDMI kiosk assistant
improved touchscreen scrolling and operation
an extensible theme/template system
Modern, LCARS-inspired, OctoDash-inspired and digital-rain themes
updated installation and theme-development documentation
The plugin is currently being tested on OctoPrint 1.11 with Raspberry Pi OS
Bookworm. I am willing to maintain the project, review bug reports and continue
adapting it to future OctoPrint releases.
Before submitting a plugin repository update, I would appreciate guidance on
the preferred adoption process and whether the existing TouchUI plugin entry
should be transferred or whether TouchUI - ReVersiond should receive a separate
entry.

I noticed you don't have any historical github activity and curious if you developed your changes extensively using AI or not. If that is the case, then we would probably want to register your plugin separately rather than as an adoption.
I've scanned your plugin source using the octoscanner tool. Please find the results in the attached txt file. We would want to have these addressed prior to adoption/new registration.

What’s the process to take this over? Fork and re-submit?

Sounds good, will install and check the issues to see how much work may be involved and report back.

Probably the biggest issue is an incompatibility with Octoprint 1.8.0+. See BillyBlaze/OctoPrint-TouchUI#532 for more info.

I've been wondering what happened to the temp graph. 😅
Well, if the plugin transfers ownership, that would provide a convenient time to shift compatibility to 1.8.0+. Just my 2 cents.

I use TouchUI as well. I would be up to Patreon someone to take over. It's a popular plugin

You could do a copy of the file and conditionally load the different file based on OctoPrint version. Here's an example of where I've used this.
https://github.com/jneilliii/OctoPrint-TPLinkSmartplug/blob/27d265aadf164f2f2aebad99ef64874af029d869/octoprint_tplinksmartplug/__init__.py#L337
Also, it's always better to utilize id css selector if at all possible, just not sure without looking directly at it if that's available here or not.
