   You're right. In client/app/account/account.js, you should find this:

   .state('settings', {
           url: '/settings',
           templateUrl: 'app/account/settings/settings.html',
           controller: 'SettingsCtrl',
           authenticate: true
         });
   

   authenticate: true is missing.

   This issue was alluded to previously in #305, and @remicastaing I agree it should be fixed for the settings page.
