whoami

I'm a backend engineer backend is the love of my life. By day I keep distributed systems from distributing too hard; by night I solder things and pretend I'm in Factorio, just with worse spaghetti.

  • athlete + boulderer - loves to touch grass, vertically
  • building stuff with Arduino / ESP32 / Raspberry Pi (some of it even works)
  • love writing rough code and then fixing it
  • i draw boxes and arrows for a living.

🛠️ the stack (aka my coping mechanisms)

Go for the money, C/С++ to feel something, Rust just because I like it.

📺 currently

  • 🔬 reimplementing Go data structures in C, so the segfaults feel handcrafted
  • 🧵 reading the Go scheduler internals at hours no human should be awake
  • 🗄️ built an in-memory DB with a WAL because regular DBs were too emotionally stable
  • 📺 "one episode" -> whole season. the saga always completes...
